Birthright of Peru is a non-denominational organization that provides caring, non-judgmental support to girls and women who are distressed by an unplanned pregnancy. Using its own resources and those of the community, Birthright offers positive and loving alternatives. They provide friendship and emotional support, free pregnancy testing, and maternity and baby clothes. Birthright treats each woman as an individual who deserves kindness and respect, as well as personal attention to her unique situation. All Birthright services are free, confidential, and available to any women regardless of age, race, creed, economic, or marital status. This organization operates with volunteers. Their hours are Monday: 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. and Tues, Wed, Thurs: 12:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit Christian housing ministry. They seek to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. For more information call (765) 985-2292.
Miami County Helping Hands is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing for the needs of residents and their families in our community. They assist the needy residents with rent, utilities, home heat, transportation, and medical prescriptions. They receive donations in food and cash. Fundraising efforts are ongoing throughout the year to also help them with monetary needs. This operation is run totally by more than one hundred volunteers.
